Though Jennifer was born in California she spent some years of her childhood living in Arizona where her love of the outdoors began. She collected critters from the neighborhood, always busy outside. Swimming lessons were necessary with swimming pools and the river close by. Her favorite activity was night swimming during the summer months. Jennifer’s first pet was a Doberman shepherd mix named Sampson. She couldn’t hook the leash to the collar, so she just put the leash in his mouth and Sampson would hold it and walk with Jennifer along the Greenbelt.

As an adult, Jennifer became a hairdresser and owned her own salon for 13 years. She took pride in making every client feel welcome and better when they left. During this time, she made trips to Arizona every chance she got, pulling her boat, leading the kids and headed for the river or Lake Mohave. When the time was right, Jennifer shut down her salon, packed up, hooked up the boat and loaded up the truck with her 5 dogs and moved to Arizona. She enjoys spending time on the water’s edge, hanging out with great friends and being outside as often as possible (even if that is picking up dog poop). Jennifer has greatly enjoyed becoming a part of the Advanced Animal Care team, helping people and helping animals.

Stacy comes from California where she lived with her husband raising two beautiful children and working in the customer service field until moving to Arizona in 2019. Living near the river has allowed Stacy to do the things she enjoys in her off time which include off-roading and boating. 

“I love being able to take my prior experience in customer service and apply it to the veterinary field where I can help pets every day”. Stacy is blessed with a very handsome grandson and her fur babies, Charlie the cat and Chiweenies Dallas and Gina.
