Wellness Exams and Vaccines
We know your pets are your family. That’s why Advanced Animal Care offers complete wellness exams. Wellness examinations help our veterinarians check for abnormalities in your pet. There is generally a better outcome for pets, and more affordable treatment for owners when we catch problems early.

We are big on preventative medicine so that your pet can live the longest, healthiest life possible! We also offer complimentary core vaccines for pets. Ask us for more details.

Dental Care

Does your pet have bad breath? We offer free dental evaluations to check the grade of dental disease in your pet’s mouth. If your pet needs a professional cleaning, we offer a full range of dental services.

All of our dental procedures are performed under full anesthesia so that your pet can stay calm and safe. We perform full mouth dental X-rays before cleaning or extracting any teeth to make sure we look at every tooth root. Call us today to schedule your pet’s free dental evaluation.

Nutritional Counseling

Do you have questions about what to feed your pet? Some pets require special food and/or specific diets. We can help you choose the right diet for your pet while taking into consideration their weight, breed, and any other special needs they may have.

If your pet needs a veterinary-specific diet, don’t worry. We carry Hill’s Prescription Diet and some Royal Canin and Purina Prescription Diets as well. Many foods can be ordered through our online pharmacy and delivered right to your door!

Senior Pet Care
Thanks to improved veterinary medicine, better diets, and preventative medicine, pets are living longer now than ever. Pets, along with their owners, are facing a new set of age-related conditions that are much more common in senior and geriatric patients.

Senior pets require increased attention and more wellness visits with their veterinarian. They need different diets than younger pets, and sometimes need medications to help with conditions they develop as they age. Talk to us about how to care for your older pets and prepare for age-related issues they may experience.

Pharmacy

We stock a wide range of veterinary drugs right here in our hospital. If your pet needs medication, chances are we have it. We also offer many more options and brands of veterinary drugs in our online pharmacy.

To keep your pet protected against the creepy and crawly, we carry flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives. We also have nutritional supplements such as vitamins, probiotics and prebiotics, joint supplements, and much more. We can also special order just about anything your pet needs.

Laboratory

Our onsite laboratory is equipped with the latest lab machines from Heska and allows us to offer accurate and fast results which help us diagnose and treat your pet as quickly as possible.

We are able to run a variety of tests in our lab including blood chemistries, blood counts, parasite screening, electrolyte testing, and much more. If your pet needs a test we don’t have the capability of running in our hospital, such as allergy testing, we rely on an outside laboratory to run tests.

Surgery
Our animal hospital offers advanced surgical techniques and technology. We screen our patients carefully for their safety and choose anesthetics specifically tailored to your pet.

We only employ fully trained veterinarians and technicians to ensure your pet has the safest procedure possible. Our facility includes a heated surgical table and warm air blanket in recovery, ECG, oxygen, and blood pressure monitors, and thorough sterilization of instruments.

Laser Therapy

Laser Therapy is a pill-free way to help get rid of your pet’s pain. It reduces inflammation and reduces pain. It is an effective way to treat acute pain, chronic conditions, and post-operative pain.

This safe, painless and fast treatment utilizes the body’s own healing by stimulating cellular activity. Photons, or packets of light energy, are sent deep into tissue without damaging it. Photos are absorbed within the cell and induce a change called “photobiomodulation.” The energy increases the production of ATP; the fuel cells need for repair which leads to healthier cells, healthier tissue, and healthier pets.

Microchips

We offer microchips with lifetime registration for your pet. This permanent I.D. gives lost pets the best chance of coming home. 10 million dogs and cats are lost or stolen in the U.S. every year. One in three pets will become lost at some point in their lives.

We register your pet for you in an online database, providing peace of mind that your beloved companion will not wander unknown. Microchipping increases the likelihood of a pet returning home by offering secure, reliable, permanent I.D. Call to make an appointment for your pet to be microchipped.

Digital Radiology

Advanced Animal Care offers state-of-the-art digital x-ray for dental and full body. Digital x-rays are faster, safer, easier to share and provide a better picture than traditional film x-rays.

Digital x-rays are fast, so your pet spends less time under anesthesia. Less radiation is used which means your pet and our staff have a safer experience. The image quality of a digital x-ray is far superior to regular film which allows us to discover disease sooner and identify problems with better accuracy. So next time your pet needs to have an x-ray done rest assured that we offer nothing but the best!

Ultrasound

Ultrasound is a non-invasive, cutting-edge technology, which uses sound waves to examine specific internal areas and organs painlessly. We used this advanced medical tool to diagnose and assist in the treatment of a wide variety of illnesses and conditions.

Ultrasound lets us look at the inside of organs and enables our doctor to diagnose and treat problems sooner than an x-ray or performing surgery. We can also use ultrasound to check for puppies and kittens!

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy helps pets heal after an injury or muscle atrophy and improves circulation. It can also be used to stimulate different organs through trigger points, helping organ function. We recommend massage therapy for both acute and chronic pain along with other treatments and although it can seem like pampering, there are proven positive effects.
