Heather P.

Certified Technician and Safety Officer

Heather grew up in Cleveland, Ohio where she earned her Associate of Applied Science by completing the Veterinary Technology program in 2013. Shortly after graduating she passed the Veterinary Technician National Exam and earned her credentials. After about a year of working at a low-cost small animal clinic, Heather moved to the Tri-State area (to escape the awful snow) and began working at Advanced Animal Care as a Certified Veterinary Technician and Safety Officer (although she doesn’t know if we love our monthly safety quizzes).

Heather has an affinity for hound dogs and enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, daughter, and her fur family. Her typical day off includes boating, hiking, kayaking, or any other outdoor activity the desert will permit.

Nicole grew up in California with her family and has had a strong connection and love for animals for as long as she can remember. She would bring home all sorts of animals in need whether they were hurt, hungry, lost, or in need of love. She moved to Fort Mohave in 2003 where she graduated high school. She has been in the veterinary field since 2011 and strives to learn more about the health and care of animals every day so she can make a difference in their lives.

Outside of work, you can find Nicole spending time at home with her pets Nellie, Kuna, and Zeus, and her husband, Jake. She also enjoys spending time with her family, camping, and game night with a group of friends.

In her spare time, Yasmin likes to hike, watch sunsets, paint her nails, watch true crime videos, and water her plants. She also sings when she’s very happy (or stressed).
