I couldn’t imagine myself in any other career.” Heather has an affinity for hound dogs and enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, daughter, and her fur family. Her typical day off includes boating, hiking, kayaking or any other outdoor activity the desert will permit.

Lisa H.

Lisa's Bio

Lisa was born and raised in Shafter California and comes from a family of ranchers. Her love of pets and livestock started early and only grew as the years went on. She was involved in 4-H and FFA through her teenage years and always wanted a career involving animals. Before starting her veterinary career she spent time raising two boys and working in sales. The more time she spent with her animals the more she wanted to get out of sales and work with animals full time. She started working for Advanced Animal Care in 2017 and is currently enrolled in an Accredited Veterinary Technician Program to obtain her certification.

“Look at me! I’m doing what I love to do, going back to school, and living my childhood dream.”
