Heather P.

CVT
Heather's Bio
Heather grew up in Cleveland, Ohio where she earned her Associates of Applied Science by completing the Veterinary Technology program in 2013. Shortly after graduating she passed the Veterinary Technician National Exam and earned her credentials. After about a year of working at a low-cost small animal clinic Heather moved to the Tri-State area (to escape the awful snow) and began working at Advanced Animal Care as a Certified Veterinary Technician. Heather worked at Advanced Animal Care for 4 years before moving to Northern Utah. Heather realized that the snow was still awful, and after a year moved back to Bullhead City to again join the Advanced Animal Care team.

“My passion is not just caring for each pet, but to support and educate each owner that is attached to that pet. I couldn’t imagine myself in any other career.” Heather has an affinity for hound dogs and enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, daughter, and her fur family.

Amy

Technician and Massage Therapist
Amy's Bio
Amy grew up in a small town in Minnesota and after graduating high school she moved to Bullhead City and began her career as a Veterinary Technician in 2001. After many years in the field she relocated to Wyoming and worked as a technician at a feline specific practice while pursuing an education in Therapeutic Massage. Amy soon found that massage therapy was a great passion and wanted to combine her knowledge of veterinary medicine and massage therapy. This lead her to obtaining her education in Companion Animal Massage Therapy. Amy moved back to Arizona in 2016 and has been with Advanced Animal Care since.

Amy lives in Fort Mohave with her vibrant daughter Jeslyn, two Pitties Tonka and Gamora, and her fiesty feline friend Bertie. “There is nothing more important and rewarding than living your passion day to day and doing the work you are meant to do.”

Lisa H.

Technician
Lisa's Bio
Lisa was born and raised in Shafter California and comes from a family of ranchers. Her love of pets and livestock started early and only grew as the years went on. She was involved in 4-H and FFA through her teenage years and always wanted a career involving animals. Before starting her veterinary career she spent time raising two boys and working in sales. In 2014 Lisa decided to start her love affair with horses up again and got into barrel racing. The more time she spent with her animals the more she wanted to get out of sales and work with pets full time. She started working for Advanced Animal Care in 2017 and is currently enrolled in an Accredited Veterinary Technician Program to obtain her certification. “Look at me! I’m doing what I love to do, going back to school, and living my childhood dream.”
