Common Urgent Care Conditions in Pets
Urgent conditions in dogs and cats tend to be serious enough to warrant prompt care but are usually not life-threatening. Some examples of urgent conditions include:
- Ear infections
- Acute vomiting/diarrhea
- Lameness/limping
- Coughing
- Cuts/scrapes
- Parasites (fleas, ticks, or worms)
- Hives and other skin-related issues
- Not eating or drinking

Urgent care is the timely care we can provide to your pet during our regular office hours to treat a concerning, but not life-threatening medical issue. We encourage you to call us if your pet has a problem, and our team will let you know if you should come right over or if the problem can wait until the following day. Our goal is to be here for you and your pet in as many situations as possible, so you can be assured that they’ll receive the high-end care they deserve when they need it.
