Meet the Advanced Animal Care leadership team!
If you are looking for the very best care for your pet, look no further. We opened our doors in 2012 and have been providing state-of-the-art veterinary care to the pets of Fort Mohave, Bullhead City, Needles, and Laughlin since then. We believe in providing your pet with the same quality of medicine that we give our own pets. Come check us out!
Advanced Animal Care’s mission is to provide professional, honest, and caring support to our clients while providing wellness, healing, comfort, and the best quality care and medicine to our patients so that they may live longer and healthier lives.
Dr. Erika Cartwright
Owner and Veterinarian
“There is a lot of diversity with a small animal practice that enables me to do what I love, getting to know my patients, and being a part of their lives.” Dr. Cartwright has advanced training in veterinary dentistry and jaw fracture repair. She is also one of the only veterinarians in the area that performs Cruciate Ligament Repair Surgery.
Dr. Cartwright shares her home with her husband Joe, their two kids, cats Cheese and Crackers, and her dog Bernice. She enjoys CrossFit and being involved in her children’s football and cheer activities. She can also fit her whole fist in her mouth!
Owner and Administrator
“I have been an animal advocate my entire life and I am proud to offer the kind of care to our patients that I demand for my own pets.”
Jenn enjoys spending time with her amazing husband Jesse, and their cats and dogs. She is also a founding member of the Veterinary Group Uncharted and enjoys art, the outdoors, and is a nerd at heart.
She thoroughly enjoys spending time on the Colorado River with her husband and daughter and in their spare time they love outdoor activities including boating, hiking, and camping with their two dogs Kasey and Kable. She also enjoys crafts, art, cooking, and working on hot rods with her husband.
“There are so many ways I can help our patients in a small animal practice, and I cannot wait to expand on new and innovative ways to help our patients live happier and healthier lives!”
Linus and Lucy
Linus joined the Advanced Animal Care team in June of 2021 and soon after, in December, Lucy was also adopted. They bring so much joy to the staff and are there for comfort and snuggles when anyone needs them. Linus enjoys climbing up as high as he can, taking naps, and sneaking into cages after patients have left them. Lucy loves walking on keyboards, stealing food, and meowing loudly.
